چکیده
Root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) is one of the pathogens that attack tomato plants so it can reduce production. One alternative to control Meloidogyne spp. environmentally friendly use botanical nematicides. Salam Koja (Murraya koenigii (L.) Spreng) has potential as a nematicide because its leaves contain secondary metabolites which are antihelmintic. The purpose this study was determine effect water extract M. and obtain best concentration in suppressing on plants. This research conducted at Greenhouse, Department Plant Pests Diseases, Faculty Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor. used an experimental method with randomized block design consisting 6 treatments 4 replications. included (without leaves), concentrations 6%, 9%, 12%, 15%, carbofuran 2 g/plant. results showed had root-knot highest 15% effective suppression number galls roots (38.57%) juvenile (J2) 100 ml soil (81.03%). Influence of Root Knot Nematode (Meloidogyne spp.) on Phenolic Acid Profile in Root of Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.)
Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) is one of the most popular vegetable crops worldwide, owing to its high nutritive value and diversified use. Plant parasitic nematodes are important pests of tomato and cause huge economic losses (Bird and Kaloshian, 2003). India is the second largest tomato growing country having cultivation area of 8.8 lakh ha with production of 18.23 mmt with productivity 20....
متن کاملDNA Complexity of the Root-knot Nematode (Meloidogyne spp.) Genome.
Cot curves derived from renaturation kinetics of sheared denatured DNA indicated that the genome of six populations representing the four most common root-knot nematode species (Meloidogyne incognita, M. arenaria, M. javanica, and M. hapla) is composed of 20% repetitive and 80% nonrepetitive sequences of DNA. Cot curves were almost identical, indicating that all populations had a haploid genome...
متن کاملC23-carbazole alkaloids from malayan Murraya koenigii (L.) spreng
Murraya koenigii (Curry leaf tree), from the Rutaceae family, is a medicinally important herb of Indian origin and now were widely distributed throughout southern Asia. The bark of Malayan Murraya koenigii was selected for phytochemical investigation. The isolation of chemical constituents from its hexane and dichloromethane extract was carried out by using different chromatographic techniques....
متن کاملAlkenes with antioxidative activities from Murraya koenigii (L.) Spreng.
Four new alkenes (1-4), and six known alkenes (5-12) were isolated from Murraya koenigii (L.) Spreng. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analyses and references. Compounds (1-12) were evaluated for antioxidative activities. Among them, compounds 1, 2, 4, and 7 exhibited significant antioxidative activities using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay with IC50=21...

Immunomodulatory activity of methanolic extract of M. koenigii leaves was evaluated on humoral and cell mediated immune response to ovalbumin, phagocytic activity by carbon clearance test, nitric oxide (NO) release from murine peritoneal macrophages and cyclophosphamide induced myelosuppression. Significant increase in the NO production by mouse peritoneal macrophages was detected in culture su...
